Beekeeping Experiences

Step into the world of the honeybee with a hands-on experience at Fletcher’s Farm, set against the backdrop of the North Yorkshire Moors.

You’ll be welcomed with an introduction to beekeeping before suiting up in full protective gear and heading out to the hives.

With no more than six people in each group, there’s plenty of time to ask questions, watch the bees at work, and enjoy the experience at a relaxed pace.

Along the way you’ll learn about the life of the hive, have the opportunity to get up close with the bees and gain a deeper understanding of just how important bees are to the world around us.

Sessions last around 90 minutes and are suitable for anyone aged around 8 and above, with under 18s accompanied by an adult. All equipment is provided, so all you need is sturdy footwear, a sense of curiosity, and a love for the outdoors.
